Utrecht Central Station
At a 10-minute walk, Utrecht CS is the most important trainhub in the country.
Right next to Central Station is a mall (Hoog Catharijne) which leads to the city centre.

Regional trams Utrecht
There is a high frequency tram-connection to/from Nieuwegein and IJsselstein.
The tram to the Uithof (University, university hospital, animal clinic) is unfortunately still not up and running (as of february 2019). Please click here for more information.
Busstation (at Central Station)
Utrecht has a very good network of buslines. Both within the city as well as within the region.
The central busstation is located near the central trainstation.
Parking & charging
When you own an apartment in Zwaanschild you can apply for a parking permit. Which is considerably cheaper than what visitors pay. You will then also receive a discount code, which you can use at the parkingmeters to reduce (40%) the parking costs for visitors.

Electric or plug-in hybrid cars can be charged at one of the 8 chargers near Zwaanschild. You do need a subscription in order to use the charging station.
